"The Sarah" Leather Tote

This 100% full grain vegetable tanned leather tote in blue and Italian brown is handmade by artist Kirsten Bjøre in her California studio. This roomy carry-all features a large inside pocket and an interior ring where you can clip your keys. It measures 13” wide and 11” high with a 4” inch gusset and 11” drop.

Leather is a natural material and will display variations in color and pattern. This is a desirable trait of handmade leather goods and speaks to the quality and care that goes into creating this bag. The blue leather is soft and buttery, with a thicker leather reinforcement panel on the bottom. The straps feature a combination of both leathers to provide contrast, beauty, and strength. The lightweight (2/3oz) Italian brown leather is aniline dyed and has a light wax finish that creates a pull-up effect when handled. It gets even better with use and will wear and age beautifully over the years.
